About the RoleWe are hiring a Student Counsellor β STEM Programs to drive student success, engagement, and long-term retention.
This is not a teaching role. You will act as a Relationship Manager for students and parents, ensuring a seamless and high-quality learning journey.
You will manage a portfolio of students and own their overall satisfaction, progress, and continuity, while closely coordinating with instructors and parents.
Key Objectives- Own student satisfaction and retention post onboarding
- Ensure strong, measurable learning outcomes
- Drive high engagement across students and parents
- Build long-term parent relationships to support renewals & referrals
- Maintain consistent communication, transparency, and trust.
Key Responsibilities1. Student Satisfaction & Retention (Core Ownership)- Manage a cohort of up to 75 students
- Ensure a positive and engaging learning experience
- Monitor attendance, participation, and engagement levels
- Identify early signs of drop-off and take corrective action
- Mandatory: Generate a minimum of 5 referrals per month (from Month 2 onwards)
2. Learning Journey Management- Own the end-to-end student lifecycle
- Align learning with student interests, pace, and ability
- Track progress, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Ensure completion of 96 sessions per student
3. Instructor & Academic Coordination- Monitor class quality and engagement levels
- Coordinate with instructors to improve delivery and pacing
- Identify learning gaps and recommend improvement strategies
4. Parent Relationship Management- Act as the primary point of contact for parents
- Conduct monthly structured check-ins
- Share weekly progress updates and project milestones
- Build trust to drive renewals and referrals
5. Engagement & Visibility- Conduct monthly check-ins (virtual/in-person) per student
- Facilitate checkpoint project presentations
- Showcase selected student work on social platforms
6. Reporting & Collaboration- Maintain accurate records in CRM / LMS systems
- Track engagement, outcomes, renewals, and referrals
- Collaborate with academic, operations, and support teams.

Mandatory Requirements- Minimum 1 year of experience in:
- Student Counselling / Academic Counselling
- Student Success / EdTech roles
- Prior virtual teaching experience (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of STEM concepts (mandatory)
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong parent-facing & relationship management skills
- Ability to assess student engagement & instructional quality
- Comfortable with CRM / LMS tools
- Must have a laptop & stable internet connection
- Availability aligned with the roleβs working hours
