Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Student Counselor based in Thrissur. The Student Counselor will work closely with students to guide them in selecting appropriate courses, universities, and career pathways tailored to their goals. Responsibilities include providing expert advice, conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, addressing queries, offering support with visa and accommodation processes, and assisting with career and scholarship opportunities. Counselors will act as a bridge between students and educational institutions, ensuring a seamless and informed decision-making process for students considering overseas education.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Proficient Communication and Customer Service skills
- Familiarity with education systems and processes for studying abroad
- Ability to build relationships and guide students effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field
- Prior experience in student counseling, preferably in an education consultancy, is a plus
- A keen interest in helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations
