Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Student Counselor. The Student Counselor will guide students through the process of selecting courses, preparing for admissions, and navigating visa requirements. Responsibilities include offering career counseling, conducting one-on-one sessions to assess student goals, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service to students and parents. The role also involves working closely with universities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about international education trends, and supporting students with IELTS and other exam preparation needs.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to effectively guide students toward their educational and career goals
- Strong Communication skills to provide clear advice and manage interactions with students, parents, and partners
- Proven Customer Service skills for delivering excellent support and creating a positive student experience
- Background in Education or related fields is essential to effectively understand and facilitate learning opportunities
- Familiarity with university admissions processes and visa requirements for international education
- Ability to stay updated with the latest developments in global education systems and trends
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
