Company Description Aniket Ithape's Career Studio helps students and young professionals move from confusion to clarity and actionable career plans. Based in Sangamner, Maharashtra, the studio supports Class 11–12 students with stream and college choices, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students who are planning their next steps. Certified counselors use psychometric assessments, one-on-one sessions, and practical career insights to create personalized roadmaps tailored to each individual’s strengths and goals. Services include stream and college selection, career mapping, entrance exam and course guidance, and goal-focused study planning. The studio offers both in-person sessions at the Sangamner office and online consultations, making expert career guidance accessible and flexible.
Role Description The Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, Nashik and Sangamner or remote. The counselor will meet with students and parents to understand academic backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations, and will conduct or interpret psychometric assessments to support informed decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing guidance on stream and college selection, entrance exams, and course options; developing individualized career and study plans; and documenting session outcomes and progress. The role involves coordinating appointments, maintaining regular follow-ups with students, and collaborating with the team to refine counseling methods and resources. The counselor will also support workshops, information sessions, and outreach activities to increase awareness of career planning services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills, with experience guiding school and college students through academic and career choices.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear explanation of complex options, and the ability to build trust with students and families.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to ensure a supportive, respectful, and professional experience for all students and guardians.
- Candidates should possess a background or strong interest in Education, such as familiarity with Indian school boards, entrance exams, and common academic pathways.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field; training in psychometric testing; proficiency with basic computer and online tools; and the ability to work independently and manage multiple cases responsibly.
