Role Description The Student Advisor / Counsellor role is a full-time, on-site position based at ICAD School of Learning in Huzur. The role involves guiding students and parents on appropriate academic pathways and programs, conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, and helping students set realistic academic and career goals. The advisor will address students’ academic concerns, monitor progress, and coordinate with faculty to support learners who need additional assistance. Day-to-day tasks include handling inquiries, providing program information, supporting admissions-related activities, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring a positive, supportive environment for students. The role also requires regular communication with parents, timely follow-ups, and participation in orientations, workshops, and other student engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to build trust and rapport with students and families.
- Candidates should possess Student Counseling and guidance abilities to support academic planning, emotional well-being, and exam readiness.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Candidates should possess an Education-related background or familiarity with competitive exam curricula such as engineering and medical entrances.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide accurate information, and ensure a positive experience for students and parents.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, coaching institutes, or school advisory roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administration, use basic computer applications
