Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow for a Student Advisor. The Student Advisor will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in making informed decisions about their educational and career pathways. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling students, providing detailed information about academic programs, assisting with application processes, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive student experience. The advisor will also maintain records of student interactions and coordinate with educational institutions to facilitate a seamless counseling process.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in mentoring and advising students.
- Experience in student counseling and the ability to guide students in selecting suitable academic or career pathways.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with a diverse group of students and stakeholders.
- Customer service skills and the ability to handle queries and concerns professionally and empathetically.
- Background in education, guidance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in maintaining organized records and a detail-oriented approach to administrative tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related discipline is desirable.
