Role Description The Student Academic Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for guiding prospective and enrolled students through academic and program-related decisions. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves counseling students on suitable online and distance degree programs, explaining eligibility criteria, fees, and curriculum details, and helping them align educational choices with career goals. The Student Academic Executive will handle student inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, maintain accurate records of interactions, and follow up to ensure a smooth admission and enrollment experience. The role also includes coordinating with university partners, staying updated on UGC and NAAC guidelines, and sharing transparent information without pressure or misleading claims. This position requires collaboration with internal teams to improve counseling processes, student satisfaction, and overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong student counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand individual goals and recommend suitable academic programs.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with students, families, and academic partners.
- Ability to explain complex information such as eligibility, fees, curriculum, and accreditation in clear, simple language.
- Good organizational and administrative abilities, including maintaining records, managing follow-ups, and handling multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Familiarity with higher education systems in India, especially UGC and NAAC-approved online and distance learning programs, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Basic proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, documents, email, CRM or student management systems).
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on ethical guidance, transparency, and long-term student success rather than short-term targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, psychology, or management is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida and collaborate effectively with a diverse, student-centric team.
