Why We Need You We're looking for experienced AI Engineers to lead the development and implementation of AI-driven capabilities across our organization. This role is critical in introducing cutting-edge AI tooling, defining and scaling best practices, and building custom models that solve real business problems. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact use cases, architect and deploy robust AI solutions, and help shape the company's broader AI strategy. The ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise in machine learning, LLMs, and MLOps with the ability to think strategically, influence stakeholders, and deliver scalable, production-ready systems that create measurable value for the business. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – Aliso Viejo, CA or Santa Monica, CA What You'll Do: Design and implement AI tooling and infrastructure to support company-wide AI adoption Develop custom machine learning models tailored to specific business use cases Establish AI/ML best practices, standards, and governance frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and requirements Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of AI platforms and technologies Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing programs Monitor model performance and implement continuous improvement processes Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends What You've Done: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field 1-2 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and AI development Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with ML Ops tools and practices (ML flow, Kubeflow, DVC, etc.) Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language (C#, R, Java, Scala) Strong experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their ML services Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines It would be nice if you have: Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, or related field 3+ years of experience in AI/ML with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role Understanding of data privacy and security considerations in AI systems Background in consulting or working with multiple business stakeholders Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
