Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Draftsman to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of structural steel design, detailing, and drafting processes. They will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for steel structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural steel drawings and plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project specifications.

- Coordinate with construction teams to resolve any on-site drafting issues.
- Maintain a thorough catalog of drawings and revisions for each project.

- Assist in the development of drafting procedures to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafting staff.
- Work with procurement and fabrication teams to ensure material accuracy.
- Interpret and apply comments from project review meetings effectively.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software applications.
- Minimum of three years of experience in structural steel drafting.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection, and construction processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams.
- Ability to interpret engineering documents and technical specifications accurately.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
