🚀 We’re Hiring | Structural Software Specification Engineer

About the RoleMIDAS IT develops structural analysis and design software used by engineers worldwide. We are looking for a Structural Engineers to generate documents and flow charts that help our development team in adding new features to the software. This role demands a quick understanding of engineering & structural code logic, with a zeal to work on a variety of design issues.
Key Responsibilities• Prepare technical specifications for new features to support the development team.
• Verify software results by comparing them with manual calculations, design-code requirements, and standard verification examples.
• Carry out beta testing and quality checks on new releases from a design engineer's standpoint, identify errors in results or behavior, and coordinate with developers to resolve them.
• Prepare verification manuals, design guides, and user documentation.
• Present features and carry out technical demonstrations for clients.
Requirements• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Sound understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Familiarity with at least one design code (IS, IRC, Eurocode, ACI, AISC), and readiness to work across multiple codes.
• Attention to detail and clear technical communication, both written and verbal.
Additional Preferences:
• Working experience with structural software (MIDAS, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).
• Coding is not essential for this role, but knowledge of scripting (Python, VBA, C#) is an added advantage.
