Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Engineer should have basic understanding of Façade & Steel Structural Design and Arrangements and be hands on with structural analysis software like StaadPro / Strand 7 optional (will be trained) modelling and assisting drafting.
- Should possess basic knowledge of Façade Structural Steel Members and its Material standards.
- Undertake liaison and coordination with other designers, including architects, and other consultants
- Prepare the structural calculations within acceptable levels of quality assurance.
- Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills and experience
- Represent the team/group/profession/discipline at external meetings
- Reviewing contractor shop drawings and calculations.
- Attending inspections during construction, installation and fabrication on concrete and steel structures.
- Work closely with the Team Leader or Project Leader on all technical matters relating to the projects;
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum Bachelor of Civil Engineering with good academic records and Master’s Degree in Structures advantage, preferred
- AutoCAD, Staad Pro, Strand7 / Advance Steel (Modelling, Detailing, Checking) and other structural software analysis (optional)
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience
- Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills
