Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru / Hyderabad for a Structural Engineer - Façade. The role involves performing structural analysis and design for building envelopes and façades, collaborating with architects and contractors, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing optimized structural solutions, and providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will also ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations while balancing aesthetic and performance goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Structural Engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of Building Envelope components and Facade Design techniques
- Experience with Façade systems and materials, including aluminum, glass, and composites
- Understanding of Building Physics, including thermal performance, acoustics, and energy efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and structural analysis tools STAAD / ETAB
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project success
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and international standards is advantageous
