Role Description
We are looking for a structural engineer to become an integral part of our architectural practice, not as an external consultant, but as a member of the design team from day one.
We’re looking for someone who sees structure as a design opportunity. Someone who enjoys solving complex architectural challenges with thoughtful, inventive, and technically sound solutions. Our aim is not to redesign architecture to suit structure, but to develop structural systems that strengthen and enable the architectural intent.
This is a full-time, in-house position where you’ll be involved from concept to execution, working closely with architects to develop projects that are both structurally intelligent and architecturally ambitious
Qualifications-
- Be technically rigorous while remaining open to experimentation.
- Enjoy working collaboratively throughout the design process.
- Believe that engineering and architecture should evolve together, not one after the other.
- Be proactive, curious, and willing to explore multiple solutions before settling on one.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Calculations, including the ability to assess loads, stresses, and material behavior for safe and efficient designs.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing structural drawings, models, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and local regulations applicable in Mumbai and the wider region.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Prior experience in an architectural or engineering firm and familiarity with construction processes is an advantage.
