Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing design calculations, coordinating detailed drawings and models with CAD teams, and collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and site engineers to resolve design and construction issues. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, evaluating materials and construction methods, and supporting quality assurance and safety initiatives. The Structural Engineer will also participate in design reviews, provide technical guidance during execution, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering skills, with a solid understanding of building design and construction practices.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Structural Analysis and Calculations to assess loads, stability, and performance of structural systems.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing and reviewing structural drawings and models.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian and international building codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, seismic and wind design guidelines).
- Experience in real estate or infrastructure projects, ideally in multi-storey residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
- Familiarity with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000) is an advantage.
