Job Title: Structural Engineer | Manager

Department: Structural Design Studio-PNCA India
Overview:
- Structures is a senior structural engineering professional responsible for acting as the primary liaison between PNCA India and PNCA UAE Structural senior management.
- This role ensures adherence to quality standards, governance frameworks, and organizational design objectives across all ongoing projects.
- This is not a design or coordination role; the position is focused entirely on technical verification, review, mentoring, and strategic oversight. The Manager provides expert guidance, validates engineering outputs, and resolves complex technical challenges to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient structural solutions delivered by PNCA India teams. Additionally, the role will represent the PNCA India Structures department, maintaining industry visibility and supporting recruitment initiatives.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary interface between PNCA India and PNCA UAE structural leadership, ensuring clarity in expectations, technical alignment, and delivery standards.
- Provide technical direction on complex structural issues and validate design approaches and solutions.
- Mentor and guide PNCA India onshore engineers to enhance technical competency and engineering judgement.
- Intervene in critical design challenges and ensure timely resolution aligned with best practices.
- Support PNCA UAE management in defining and maintaining design standards, quality benchmarks, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.) and international design codes (BS, ACI, Eurocode), in coordination with PNCA UAE.
- Conduct periodic design reviews and audits to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance across projects.
- Responsible for department resource training & management.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in structural engineering principles, structural analysis, and design validation
- In-depth knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, and other structural analysis software
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation systems
- Excellent technical review and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management across India–UAE teams
- Sound understanding of quality assurance and governance processes

Seminar / Training Topics
- AI in Structural Design & innovations, High-rise structural stability & drift control, Seismic & wind-based design (ETABS advanced), Slab optimization & foundation design (SAFE) , Project & Design Management, Code Compliance & Standards Committee, etc.
Quality, Governance & Review:
- Technical audit & design review processes
- Risk identification in structural systems
Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (mandatory)
- 8 - 12 years of structural engineering experience
- Preference for candidates with prior managerial or leadership roles
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior-level position
- Strong understanding of authority submission procedures and internal approval workflows
- Experience in high-rise and mixed-use residential projects within an internal delivery setup
- Exposure to international consultants
- Expertise in advanced structural design methodologies
