Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position located in Kolkata for a Structural Engineer. In this role, the Structural Engineer will be responsible for conducting structural design and analysis, performing load and stress calculations, and creating solutions for steel and prefabricated building structures. The engineer will collaborate with architects and designers, review project specifications, and use design software to develop detailed plans. Quality assurance and adherence to safety standards will be key aspects of day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis, Structural Engineering, and Civil Engineering principles
- Strong skills in performing Calculations and load assessments for design accuracy
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and modeling structural designs
- Effective problem-solving and project management capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Professional engineering certification is a plus
