Role Description The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing safe, cost-efficient, and constructible RCC and steel structures for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves preparing structural analysis models, performing detailed calculations, and developing reinforcement and steel detailing that aligns with project requirements and applicable codes. The role includes coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to resolve design queries, ensure construction-friendly solutions, and support site teams during execution. The Structural Engineer will review drawings, perform proof checking, participate in structural audits, and contribute to value engineering initiatives to optimize material usage and structural systems. The position also involves preparing technical reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in design standards and workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong structural analysis and design skills for RCC and steel systems, including foundations, shear walls, and lateral load-resisting systems.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, and related tools for modeling and analysis.
- Solid understanding of IS Codes, NBC, and relevant international standards, with the ability to apply them in practical design scenarios.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and construction-friendly documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and provide clear, solution-focused technical guidance to site and design stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in designing high-rise buildings, industrial structures, and warehouses is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and value engineering mindset, with attention to safety, efficiency, and buildability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad.
