Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to join our team on-site at our Bengaluru North location. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing structural engineering projects, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing blueprints, performing structural calculations, collaborating with architects and construction teams, conducting site visits, and reviewing project specifications. The role also involves identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure the structural integrity and durability of projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or ETABS
- Strong understanding of construction materials, building codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to perform load calculations, structural assessments, and detailed blueprints
- Project management and collaboration skills to work effectively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus
- Relevant work experience in structural engineering, preferably in residential and commercial construction
- Professional engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable
