Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for solar power plants and related infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role includes conducting detailed calculations, preparing and reviewing structural drawings and models using CAD tools, and coordinating with civil, electrical, and project teams to integrate structural designs into overall project plans. The Structural Engineer will support site assessments, review vendor and contractor designs, and provide technical guidance during installation, construction, and commissioning. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, participating in design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to solar and renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and detailed engineering calculations for foundations, mounting structures, and other load-bearing components.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing, reviewing, and updating structural drawings and 3D models.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian and international codes, standards, and best practices for structural and civil design in solar infrastructure.
- Master’s degree Structural Engineering.
- Fresher/Experience in solar or renewable energy projects, including ground-mounted and rooftop installations, is an advantage.
- Ability to work in team, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable engineering practices.
