Role Description The Structural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate structural and architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and details, in alignment with project specifications and engineering standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating shop drawings, updating and revising drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that documentation is complete and compliant with relevant codes. The role also involves supporting Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows, maintaining organized drawing records, and collaborating with site and design teams to resolve technical drawing issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in shop drawings and technical drawing, with the ability to produce clear, precise, and buildable documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in architectural drawings and structural engineering concepts to interpret designs and translate them into detailed structural layouts.
- Candidates should possess experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows to support coordinated, multi-disciplinary project delivery.
- Candidates should possess competency in CAD and relevant drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar), along with good knowledge of industry standards and codes.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, spatial visualization ability, and effective communication skills for collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related discipline, with prior experience as a structural draftsman or detailer, is preferred.
