Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Drafter located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Structural Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, technical drawings, and architectural drawings based on design guidelines. Tasks include collaborating with project teams, interpreting designs, incorporating Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques, and ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards. The role may include coordinating with engineers and architects in resolving design challenges and ensuring efficient project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Shop Drawings, Technical Drawings, and Architectural Drawings
- Knowledge and experience in Structural Engineering principles and standards
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and tools
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret technical designs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience working on cold-formed steel structures is a bonus
