Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Designer with STAAD Pro role based in Mumbai. The Structural Designer will develop safe and efficient structural designs for facade systems, using STAAD Pro and related tools to analyze loads, member capacities, and overall structural performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating with the design and project teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve structural issues, optimize steel and support systems, and integrate structural design with architectural intent. The Structural Designer will also support documentation, participate in design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to design and analyze facade-related structures.
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for preparing detailed structural and fabrication plans.
- Hands-on experience of 5-10years in Steel Design, particularly for facade frames, support systems, and connections.
- Advanced competency with STAAD Pro or equivalent structural analysis software for modeling and load assessment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian and international building codes and standards for steel and facade structures.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide practical design solutions.
