Role Description
We are seeking a Structural Designer for a full-time, on-site position based in Puducherry. The Structural Designer will create construction drawings, perform structural and steel design, develop and review detailed plans using CAD software, and ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and engineers, to deliver durable, efficient, and visually appealing structures. This role involves problem-solving and innovating designs that achieve high-performance outcomes while meeting project budgets and timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings and producing accurate and clear design documents.
- Strong background in Structural Engineering and Steel Design for diverse projects.
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and modeling.
- Knowledge in Civil Engineering fundamentals and principles for structural project success.
- Experience with materials, fabrication processes, and feasibility in design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with tensile architecture and membrane engineering is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
