Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design of buildings and infrastructure, preparing detailed drawings and calculations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily tasks include developing design models, coordinating with architects and other engineering disciplines, reviewing project specifications, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The role involves using CAD tools to create and revise structural layouts, participating in design reviews, and supporting site teams with design clarifications. The engineer will also assist in value engineering, quality checks of deliverables, and continuous improvement of design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and building/infrastructure design.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for structural drawings and detailing.
- Candidates should possess understanding of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., IS codes or equivalent), and basic knowledge of construction practices.
- Beneficial qualifications include experience with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS), familiarity with BIM tools, and prior work on multi-story or industrial projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are required.
