Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location - Gurugram
Industry: Real Estate Development / Construction
Reports to: Project Director / Head of Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Analysis: Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete (RCC), steel, and composite structures, ensuring compliance with local codes (e.g., IS, ACI, BS).
- Technical Optimization: Review and optimize structural designs for cost-efficiency, safety, and constructability without compromising quality, as described in SV Placement.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed structural drawings, GFC (Good For Construction) documents, and technical reports.
- Site Coordination: Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with design drawings, and provide solutions to unforeseen site structural challenges.
- Liaison: Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural elements, say SV Placement and Scribd.
- Project Management: Monitor construction progress, supervise quality control of materials, and ensure structural soundness. SV Placement

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: 3-10+ years of experience in structural design, preferably with a real estate developer or consultancy, according to FAIRGROWTH.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar FEM (Finite Element Method) software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
