Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with minimum experience of 5 Years & expertise in renewable energy projects to prepare detailed structural reports for photovoltaic (PV) solar mounting structures. The role involves analyzing, designing, and assessing the structural integrity and safety of solar mounting systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design assessments of PV solar mounting systems including fixed tilt, trackers, and foundation structures.
• Prepare comprehensive structural reports documenting load calculations, material specifications, design assumptions, and compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, AISC, National or international building codes).
• Review architectural and civil drawings, site conditions, and soil reports to determine design requirements and constraints
• Evaluate environmental factors such as wind loads, snow loads, seismic activity, and other site-specific conditions affecting the mounting structure.
• Provide recommendations for design improvements, material selection, and construction methodologies.
• Ensure all reports and calculations are clear, accurate, and submitted within project timelines.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, building codes, and renewable energy standards relevant to solar mounting structures. Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience in structural design and analysis, preferably in solar PV mounting systems or renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASCE 7, AISC, IEC 61215).  Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured technical reports.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working with solar mounting hardware manufacturers or EPC contractors.
• Familiarity with foundation design (e.g., driven piles, helical piles, concrete foundations) used in solar farms.
• Knowledge of environmental impact and sustainability consideration
