Role Description The Structural Design Engineer will work on-site in Gurugram in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and analysis of building and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing structural calculations, developing design concepts, and preparing detailed drawings and models using CAD tools. The role involves coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet safety, code, and performance requirements. The engineer will review and optimize structural systems, assist in preparing technical reports, and support construction teams with design clarifications. The position also requires participation in design reviews, adherence to industry standards, and continuous improvement of design practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis, with the ability to design safe and efficient structural systems.
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, including materials, construction methods, and relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, with hands-on experience in AutoCAD for creating and modifying structural drawings.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, prepare calculation sheets, and contribute to detailed design documentation.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and capability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Familiarity with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, or similar) and local building codes will be an advantage.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage time and priorities in an on-site project environment.
