Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structural Design Engineer located in Ahmedabad. The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and developing structural designs for pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating design plans using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, overseeing engineering activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including civil and mechanical engineers. The role also requires delivering timely solutions that meet stringent quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering to develop reliable and efficient designs
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering with an understanding of construction practices and materials
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and proficiency in AutoCAD
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for structural designs
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certification or licensure in structural or civil engineering is a plus
- Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clean room projects is an advantage
