Senior Design Engineer – Bridges
Location: Navi Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer (Bridges) with 10+ years of experience in structural design for highway and bridge projects to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of Major Bridges, Minor Bridges, Flyovers, and Viaducts for highway and infrastructure projects.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design of culverts (slab/box), rigid portal frames, and bridge components.
- Design PCC/RCC Abutments, Piers, Solid Slabs, Well Foundations, Open Foundations, and Pile Foundations.
- Carry out hydraulic calculations, retaining wall design, temporary structures, and staging design for bridge construction.
- Lead the design and review of PSC girders, RCC girders, composite girders, and integral bridge systems.
- Review geotechnical investigation reports, topographic surveys, and structural inventories for design inputs.
- Coordinate with draftsmen, BIM teams, and multidisciplinary engineers to ensure accurate preparation of drawings (plans, sections, elevations).
- Conduct design checks, peer reviews, and value engineering to ensure compliance with project standards and codes.
- Interface with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders for technical discussions and approvals.
- Guide and mentor junior design engineers and drafting teams.
Qualification:
🎓 M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in structural design of bridges and highway structures.
- Experience working on national/state highway or large infrastructure projects will be preferred.
