Role Description The Structural BIM Engineer – Bridges is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The position involves developing and managing BIM models for bridge structures, ensuring accurate representation of geometry, reinforcement, and construction details throughout the design and documentation process. The engineer collaborates closely with structural engineers, CAD technicians, and project managers to coordinate models, resolve design clashes, and maintain alignment with project specifications and standards. Daily tasks include preparing detailed drawings and schedules, conducting model reviews, updating models according to design changes, and supporting interdisciplinary coordination meetings. The role also requires adherence to quality and safety standards, maintaining organized project files, and supporting the implementation of BIM best practices and workflows.
Requirements
Minimum 4+ years of experience in Structural BIM Modeling & Coordination
3+ years of UAE infrastructure project experience (Mandatory)
Strong experience in Bridge Infrastructure Projects
Proficiency in Revit for structural modeling and detailing
Experience in Bridge, Tunnel, and Infrastructure BIM projects
Hands-on experience with Navisworks/Revizto for model coordination and clash detection
