<strong>Job Overview:<br></strong><br>
</div><div>We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Specialist with experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to support planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress tracking for industrial projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring E&I scopes are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining visibility into project performance.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>
</div><ul>
<li>Develop and maintain project schedules for E&I scope using scheduling software </li>
<li>Track and analyze project progress, productivity, and performance metrics </li>
<li>Monitor costs, budgets, forecasts, and earned value for E&I activities </li>
<li>Prepare regular reports on schedule status, cost variance, and risk analysis </li>
<li>Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment </li>
<li>Support change management processes, including change orders and impact analysis </li>
<li>Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans </li>
<li>Assist with resource planning, including labor, materials, and equipment forecasting </li>
<li>Validate field progress and ensure accurate reporting of installed quantities </li>
<li>Support project closeout, including documentation and final cost reporting </li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in project controls, planning, or cost control in industrial or construction projects </li>
<li>Experience supporting Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) scopes </li>
<li>Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project </li>
<li>Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and earned value management (EVM) </li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schedules, and project documentation </li>
<li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools </li>
<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills </li>
</ul><div><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></div><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field </li>
<li>Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Power Generation, Chemical, Data Centers and Renewables.</li>
<li>Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) </li>
<li>PMI-SP, PMP, or AACE certifications (e.g., CCP, PSP) </li>
</ul><div><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:</strong></div><ul>
<li>This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday</li>
<li>Position based out of The Woodlands, TX office. </li>
<li>Availability for overtime. </li>
