Key responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, creating detailed financial models, evaluating investment opportunities, managing portfolios, and supporting decision-making through comprehensive research. The analyst will also work closely with cross-functional teams to assess strategic initiatives, monitor industry trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis across the Indian healthcare sector, with focus on tertiary care, specialty hospitals, and outpost / satellite strategy.
•Build financial models, scenario analyses, and investment memoranda for new initiatives, joint ventures, partnerships, and potential acquisitions.
•Identify and evaluate inorganic opportunities — M&A targets, strategic JVs, brownfield acquisitions, and partnership models — in North India and other priority geographies.
•Lead investor and partner outreach from Delhi, including coordination with healthcare PE/VC funds, family offices, lenders, and strategic corporate partners.
•Support the Chief Strategy Officer in preparing board presentations, investor decks, lender packs, and strategic review materials.

•Develop outpost and new-unit feasibility studies, including catchment analysis, demand modelling, payer mix assessment, and P&L projections.
•Coordinate with external consultants, transaction advisors, and research agencies on strategic and investment projects.
•Represent VPS Lakeshore at industry conferences, roundtables, and stakeholder engagements across Delhi/NCR and North India.
•Liaise with hospital and corporate leadership in Kochi to ensure corporate strategy and investment decisions are grounded in operational realities and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Public Health, or a related field from a premier institution. MBA from a top-tier institute strongly preferred.
•3–7 years of experience in management consulting (healthcare practice), investment banking, healthcare PE/VC, corporate strategy, or healthcare M&A advisory.
•Exceptional financial modelling, valuation, and quantitative analysis skills.
•Strong command of PowerPoint, Excel, and business intelligence / data tools.
•Proven ability to synthesise complex data and policy developments into clear, actionable executive recommendations.
•Deep understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem — private hospital chains, insurance landscape, government health schemes, and medical tourism.
•Confident, polished communicator able to represent the Group with investors, lenders, corporates, and policymakers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Direct experience with hospital feasibility studies, M&A due diligence, or healthcare PE/VC transactions.
•Existing network within the Delhi/NCR healthcare, investor, and policy ecosystem.
•Exposure to central government health programmes and engagement with ministries, regulators, or industry bodies (NATHEALTH, CII Healthcare, FICCI Health).
•Familiarity with Kerala’s healthcare market and South India medical tourism dynamics.
•Experience with NABH accreditation strategy or JCI quality frameworks as inputs to investment cases.
