We are looking for a Strategic Planner who can turn data, cultural insights, and consumer behavior into powerful brand strategies. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and business, partnering closely with account management and creative teams to craft compelling, insight-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear brand, communication, and campaign strategies based on market research and consumer insights
- Translate data and research into actionable creative briefs
- Conduct primary & secondary research, including competitor analysis, audience profiling, and trend mapping
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and media teams to ensure strategic alignment across campaigns
- Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute to big campaign ideas
- Track campaign performance and derive learnings for future planning
- Build strong narratives and presentations for internal and client discussions
- Stay updated on cultural trends, consumer behaviour, and industry shifts
Key Skills & Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in account planning/strategy within an advertising or digital agency
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to convert insights into creative opportunities
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills
- Familiarity with research tools, digital analytics, and consumer data
- Understanding of integrated campaigns (digital, social, mainline)
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on diverse categories/brands
- Exposure to digital-first campaigns and content ecosystems
- MBA or relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
