The Strategic IT Global Infrastructure Head will lead the modernization, scalability, and resilience of the company’s global IT landscape. This role requires a proactive, hands‑on technology leader who can architect future‑ready infrastructure, manage end‑to‑end IT operations (L1/L2/L3), oversee cybersecurity posture, and drive global IT governance. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to build scalable systems and teams across geographies.
Location: Bangalore, KA India (On-Site)
Salary Offered : INR 60-65 LPA
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Modernization & Strategy
- Develop and execute a multi‑year roadmap for modernizing global IT infrastructure (cloud, on‑prem, hybrid).
- Lead transformation initiatives including cloud migration, network modernization, automation, and observability.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Build scalable infrastructure strategies aligned with business growth and global expansion.
2. Global IT Operations Leadership
- Oversee end‑to‑end IT operations including L1, L2, and L3 support teams across multiple geographies.
- Establish robust SLAs, KPIs, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Drive proactive monitoring, incident management, problem management, and root‑cause analysis.
- Ensure seamless onboarding/offboarding processes for employees, contractors, and global teams.
3. Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Lead cybersecurity teams and strengthen the organization’s security posture.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, GDPR, etc.).
- Oversee vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and security audits.
- Partner with external security vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous protection.
4. IT Governance, Policy Formation & Compliance
- Create and maintain IT policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Drive standardization across global IT processes, tools, and platforms.
5. Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and scale high‑performing IT and cybersecurity teams.
- Collaborate with business units, delivery teams, HR, and leadership to support organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and proactive problem‑solving.
6. Vendor, Budget & Stakeholder Management
- Manage global IT budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and vendor relationships.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts for infrastructure, cloud, security, and managed services.
- Present infrastructure strategy, risks, and progress to executive leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–20+ years of experience in IT infrastructure leadership roles within IT services, consulting, or global enterprises.
- Proven experience modernizing infrastructure (cloud, hybrid, automation, DevOps, observability).
- Strong understanding of networking, servers, storage, virtualization, identity management, and endpoint management.
- Hands‑on experience managing L1/L2/L3 support operations.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Experience leading global teams and multi‑location IT operations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build scalable systems, processes, and teams from the ground up.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Azure/AWS Architect, PMP.
- Experience in IT services or managed services environments.
- Prior experience driving large‑scale cloud or infrastructure transformation programs.
