About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales leader to drive cross border Ocean/ Air Freight B2B business development and acquisition efforts. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, fostering relationships with customers across various industries, and contributing to the overall success of Xhipment. Research and generate lists of potential customers. Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature.
Responsibilities:
- Market Strategy & Business Development: Own GTM strategy for cross-border ocean & air freight; identify high-value opportunities and build a strong, targeted pipeline
- Senior Customer Relationships: Engage decision-makers, understand end-to-end supply chains, and position Xhipment’s value against competitors
- Revenue Ownership: Own targets, manage pipeline, and close complex deals; refine sales approach as the team scales
- Internal Influence: Collaborate with product, ops, and tech to ensure delivery and shape offerings through market feedback
What are we looking for?
- Education Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Professional Qualification: 5+ years of cross-border logistics sales experience with a freight forwarder/liner (required)
- Customer Obsession: Demonstrated commitment to ensuring exceptional customer experiences and a passion for exceeding customer expectations
- Ownership Mentality: Proven ability to take ownership of projects, think long-term, and deliver results, taking responsibility for customer success
- Bias for Action: Strong ability to act quickly and decisively, collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes
