Role Overview
We are looking for a senior professional with deep expertise in contract evaluation, commercial negotiation, and strategic bidding for large mining and infrastructure projects in India and overseas.
This role will work closely with top management to strengthen the company’s contract portfolio, identify growth opportunities, and ensure commercially sound agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, draft, and negotiate high-value mining and infrastructure contracts
- Lead commercial discussions and finalize contract terms with clients
- Drive bidding strategy for new projects in India and abroad
- Identify risks and loopholes in existing contracts and recommend corrective actions
- Advise management on feasibility and commercial viability of new project acquisitions
- Identify new business areas and convert opportunities into profitable contracts
- Support long-term strategic expansion through contract intelligence
Desired Profile
- Extensive experience in commercial management of underground and opencast metal mining contracts
- Proven track record in negotiating and finalizing contracts with leading organizations such as Hindustan Copper Limited, Vedanta Limited, Coal India Limited, UltraTech Cement and similar large corporations
- Strong understanding of contract risk analysis, commercial terms, and legal frameworks
- Strategic thinker with strong business expansion and negotiation skills
- Ability to advise leadership on high-value commercial decisions
