About Us
Acumen, established in 2008 under the Sannam S4 Group umbrella, is a premier internationalisation partner for educational institutions worldwide. Originating in India, we have expanded our services across Asia, North America, and beyond, providing comprehensive support to universities and organisations embarking on their global journeys.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional writer and content developer to strengthen the quality of Acumen's strategic, commercial and client-facing content.
Working with senior leaders and subject matter experts across our global business, you will take complex information, data and ideas and turn them into clear, persuasive and visually engaging content.
The role requires someone who combines excellent writing and editorial skills with strong project management. You will frequently bring together information from multiple teams and contributors, working to defined requirements and deadlines to produce high-quality finished materials.
You should also be confident using technology and AI to improve the efficiency and quality of your work, while retaining strong independent judgement and editorial control.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Proposal Development
- Write, edit and develop high-quality proposals, capability materials, case studies, presentations and strategic client content.
- Interpret detailed client briefs and requirements and translate them into clear, structured responses.
- Develop compelling narratives that demonstrate our experience, approach, evidence and outcomes.
- Tailor content to different clients, markets and audiences rather than relying on generic materials.
- Turn technical or complex information into concise and accessible content.
- Review and improve content produced by others to ensure consistency, clarity and quality.
Content Coordination
- Manage complex content projects from initial brief through to completion.
- Develop clear content plans, responsibilities and timelines.
- Coordinate contributions from senior leaders and subject matter experts across multiple countries.
- Manage competing deadlines, approvals and document versions.
- Identify gaps in information or evidence and proactively work with colleagues to address them.
- Ensure final materials meet the requirements of the original brief and are accurate, complete and professionally presented.
- Maintain an organised library of approved content, case studies, statistics, credentials and examples.
Visual & Data Communication
- Translate complex information into diagrams, process maps, timelines, frameworks and visual summaries.
- Create clear charts and visualisations that communicate data and outcomes effectively.
- Develop professional presentations and other client-facing materials.
- Recognise when information can be communicated more effectively visually rather than through lengthy text.
Research, Technology & AI
- Undertake research into clients, markets, competitors and higher education developments to strengthen content.
- Confidently use Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, presentation tools, content management platforms and collaborative working software.
- Quickly learn and confidently use new content and workflow management systems.
- Use AI effectively for research, structuring, editing, analysis and quality assurance.
- Independently verify facts, evidence and AI-generated outputs.
- Identify new tools and approaches that can improve content quality and efficiency.

- Experience coordinating substantial written projects involving multiple contributors and fixed deadlines.
- Strong research and analytical skills, including confidence working with data and evidence.
- Ability to create professional charts, diagrams, process maps and presentations.
- Strong digital skills and confidence in learning new software and platforms.
