Role Description The Strategic Advisory Associate (Semi-Qualified CA/CMA/ACCA) will support advisory mandates across ownership, capital, governance, and India entry and expansion for promoter-led, family-owned, and institutional clients. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune City and involves working closely with senior advisor to analyze businesses, prepare structured insights, and contribute to strategic recommendations at critical decision points.
Day-to-day responsibilities include financial and strategic analysis, preparing reports and presentations, building models and frameworks, conducting sector and transaction research, and supporting client meetings and workshops.
The associate will collaborate with internal team to synthesize complex information, maintain high-quality documentation, and ensure timely delivery of advisory outputs. The role also includes continuous learning and participation in internal knowledge-building initiatives to strengthen Shoonyas’s advisory capabilities.
Qualifications
- Foundation in commerce/finance, with semi-qualified status in CA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Ability in industry and financial analysis, business research, and preparation of structured reports and presentations for leadership audiences.
- Skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build clear models, frameworks, and visual narratives for decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex ideas into concise, actionable insights.
- Professional judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work with discretion on sensitive leadership and boardroom matters.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment, with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Prior experience in consulting, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or family business advisory is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City in a lean team enviorenment and commit to a full-time schedule
