Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced pub environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily kitchen operations and staff
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and food cost control
- Train and mentor kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Adhere to the updated menu items in collaboration with management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Monitor prep, line execution, and ticket times
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of kitchen management or sous chef experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with inventory systems and cost control and portion control
- Ability to lead a team in a high-volume environment, including Catering skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred:
- Experience in pub fare, comfort food, or scratch kitchens
- Culinary training or certification
