Position Name: Strak- (Design Studio) Coordinator
Department: EKX TCP
Reporting Position: EKX/0- Team Lead Body System Management
Qualification: Bachelor of Design/ Masters of Design/ Automotive Engineering

Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):
To coordinate and manage the Strak (surface) Class A and concept definition process within vehicle design Language and development process. The role ensures that design Theme ,intentions are translated into technically feasible, production-ready virtual surfaces digital models through close cooperation between design, engineering, and virtual development teams. It supports project timelines, process efficiency, and the deployment of virtual development and AI-based tools for digital concept validation.
Authority:
- Acts as the project interface between Design (ED, EBS), Technical Development (EBK, EBW, EKF, etc.), and Virtual Development (ES/2).
- Authorized to coordinate milestone activities related to Strak and concept data readiness (PS to KE/PR2).
- Provides technical recommendations based on user interface and bench marking experience
- Supports project planning, progress tracking, and reporting for design–engineering integration activities.
- Represents EK-IN in virtual design development meetings.
- Oversees visual output consistency, rendering standards, and post-processing quality control.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Project Coordination – Plan, track, and manage Strak & concept definition activities across design and engineering teams and external agencies
- Technical Support – Ensure technical feasibility of Strak surfaces and concept data through reviews and validations.
- Cross-Functional Alignment – Coordinate communication and deliverables between design, virtual development, and technical departments.
- Digital & Virtual Development – Support use of virtual tools, simulations, and AI methods in concept and design processes.
- Reporting & Process Improvement – Monitor progress, prepare reports, and propose workflow enhancements.
