Role: Storyboard Artist

We are looking for a creative Storyboard & Animatic Artist who can visually translate scripts and ideas into clear, engaging storyboards and animatics for narrative and visual development projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, timing, composition, and camera language.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create clear and engaging storyboards based on scripts, briefs, or verbal inputs.
• Develop animatics to define shot timing, pacing, camera movement, and narrative flow.
• Collaborate closely with directors, writers, and art leads to visualize scenes effectively.
• Translate abstract ideas into strong visual sequences quickly.
• Maintain consistency in visual language and storytelling throughout the project.
• Support pre-production with storyboards and animatics for pitches, presentations, and approvals.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Skills:
• Strong portfolio showcasing storyboards and animatics (concept sketches are a plus).
• Solid understanding of visual storytelling, shot composition, camera angles, and continuity.
• Good sense of timing, pacing, and scene flow.
• Proficiency in tools such as Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, Toon Boom, After Effects, Procreate, or similar.
• Ability to work with both detailed scripts and loose, open-ended ideas.
• Strong communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.
