Role Description The Storekeeper role at Swathi Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying deliveries, ensuring that all items are checked against purchase orders and properly recorded. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and maintaining storage areas, managing inventory levels, preparing items for internal distribution, and packing materials for various hospitality operations. The role also involves tracking stock movement, updating inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and coordinating with kitchen, hotel, and catering teams to fulfill material requirements. The Storekeeper follows safety and hygiene standards, supports periodic audits, and helps ensure efficient, reliable supply for all Swathi Group outlets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong inventory skills, including Inventory Control and Inventory Management.
- Candidates should possess materials handling skills, including Packing and safe storage practices.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory software, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized records.
- Ability to lift and move goods safely, and follow workplace safety and hygiene protocols.
- Prior experience as a storekeeper or in warehouse, logistics, or hospitality stores is an advantage.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in stores or logistics is beneficial.
