The Store Supervisor will be responsible for managing the inventory, storage, and issuance of
materials related to solar projects (modules, inverters, cables, structures, etc.). The role ensures
proper stock control, material handling, and coordination with project and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily store operations at site/warehouse
Maintain accurate records of inventory (inward/outward)
Handle materials like solar panels, inverters, cables, structures, and electrical
components
Ensure proper storage and safety of materials to avoid damage or loss
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment
Prepare and maintain reports (stock register, GRN, issue slips, etc.)
Coordinate with project/site team for material requirements
Conduct periodic stock audits and physical verification
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Manage store staff (if applicable)
Required Skills:
Knowledge of solar materials and equipment
Inventory management and documentation skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP systems preferred)
Attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Qualification:
Diploma / Graduate (Any stream, preferably technical)
Certification in store/warehouse management is an added advantage
