Role Overview
The Store Operations Manager is responsible for day to day store floor operations, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, the store is clean and organized, pricing is accurate, and products are displayed in an attractive and customer-friendly manner. The role focuses on maintaining operational discipline and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shelf Refill & Stock Replenishment- Ensure continuous refilling of shelves with no empty gaps
- Monitor fast-moving products and replenish immediately
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) during refilling
- Coordinate with back store for stock availability
2. Store Cleanliness- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the store
- Ensure floors, shelves, racks, and aisles are clean at all times
- Immediately address spills, waste, or hygiene issues
- Support periodic deep cleaning activities
3. Back Stock Management- Organize back stock area in a systematic and accessible manner
- Ensure proper labeling and category-wise arrangement
- Follow FIFO/FEFO to avoid expiry and wastage
- Minimize stock damage and losses
4. Store Arrangement- Maintain proper store layout and product arrangement
- Ensure products are placed as per category and planogram
- Keep shelves neat, aligned, and visually appealing
- Support seasonal and promotional arrangements
5. Reordering & Stock Monitoring- Monitor stock levels regularly
- Identify low-stock items and inform supervisors for reorder
- Prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Assist in inventory checks and audits
6. Price Display & Accuracy- Ensure all products have clear and correct price tags
- Verify that shelf price matches billing price
- Update price labels during changes and promotions
- Report discrepancies immediately
7. Product Display- Ensure attractive and customer-friendly product displays
- Place high-demand and high-margin products strategically
- Maintain front-facing of products at all times
- Support promotional displays and in-store visibility
Key Requirements
- Experience: 5 years in supermarket/retail operations
- Education: Minimum Plus Two / Graduate preferred
- Basic understanding of retail store operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
