Role Description The Store Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Aurangabad, responsible for managing and overseeing all store and inventory activities. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring material receipts and issues, and ensuring proper storage and labeling of items. The role involves preparing and verifying purchase orders, coordinating with procurement and production teams, and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages or excess inventory. The Store Officer will also update inventory systems, reconcile physical and system stock, track material movement, and support timely dispatch and availability of materials. This role requires close collaboration with finance and quality teams to ensure compliance with internal processes and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in stock control and stock management to maintain accurate and timely records of materials.
- Candidates should possess solid experience in purchase orders and coordination with procurement to ensure timely material availability.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in inventory control and inventory management to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, including experience with inventory or ERP software and MS Excel.
- Candidates should possess good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work systematically in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams.
- Relevant experience in store or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings, is highly beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
