Job Title: Store & Purchase Executive
Industry: Interior Fit-out / Architecture & Design / Construction (Mandatory Experience)
About the Role
Looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Store & Purchase Executive to manage procurement and inventory operations for high-end interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of interior materials, vendor coordination, inventory control, and site procurement processes to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source and procure interior materials such as plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, paints, glass, electrical fittings, and related items as per project requirements.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Inventory & Store Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for inward and outward material movement.
- Monitor stock availability and ensure timely replenishment to avoid project delays.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and inventory audits.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain Purchase Orders (POs), Material Receipt Notes (MRNs), invoices, and Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
- Track procurement costs, pending orders, and delivery schedules using MS Excel.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting for management review.
Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and vendors for smooth material planning and delivery.
- Ensure timely dispatch and safe transportation of materials to project sites.
- Resolve material shortages and supply-related issues proactively.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Interior Fit-out, Architecture, or Construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, brands, suppliers, and local market rates in Pune.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
