Job Summary
The Store Manager in the hospitality sector is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store/outlet, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and achieving sales and operational targets. The role focuses on delivering a high-quality guest experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise and lead store staff, including scheduling shifts, training, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene standards, and compliance with hospitality regulations.
- Achieve sales targets and implement strategies to improve store revenue.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports.
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of products/services.
- Manage billing, cash handling, and financial reconciliation.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operational workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3–6 years of experience in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or hospitality outlets.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in hospitality.
