Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations including inventory control, material handling, and warehouse management. The role requires strong expertise in SAP Business One for managing inventory transactions, ensuring stock accuracy, and supporting production requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities 1. Inventory & Store Operations
- Manage day-to-day store activities including receipt, storage, and issue of materials
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted production
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials
- Implement FIFO / FEFO practices where applicable
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation

- SAP Business One (ERP Management)
- Handle all inventory transactions in SAP Business One
- Perform:
- Goods Receipt PO (GRPO)
- Goods Issue and Transfer
- Inventory adjustments and stock postings
- Ensure real-time and accurate data entry in the ERP system
- Generate inventory reports, stock status, and MIS reports
- Coordinate with purchase and production teams for system updates
- Material Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability
- Work closely with production for material planning and dispatch
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory
- Support vendor returns and rejection processes
- Warehouse & Logistics Management
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material movement
- Supervise loading/unloading activities
- Ensure proper material handling to avoid damage or loss
- Manage dispatches and documentation (challans, invoices, etc.)
- Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain proper records of inward/outward materials
- Ensure compliance with internal audit and statutory requirements
- Follow safety standards and housekeeping practices (5S)
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections
- Team Management
- Supervise store staff, helpers, and forklift operators
- Assign duties and monitor performance
