Job Title: Store Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:
A Store Manager is responsible for overseeing overall store operations, driving sales performance, managing the team, and delivering a premium customer experience. The role requires strong expertise in apparel retail along with in-depth knowledge of fabrics, styling, and garment handling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage end-to-end store operations and ensure smooth functioning
* Drive store sales and consistently achieve business targets
* Lead, train, and motivate store team (Fashion Consultants, Cashiers, etc.)
* Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a premium shopping experience
* Guide customers and team on styling, fabric selection, and product suitability
* Maintain visual merchandising standards as per brand guidelines
* Monitor staff performance and ensure productivity
* Handle escalated customer concerns effectively
* Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy, and shrinkage control
* Ensure adherence to SOPs, audit compliance, and company policies
* Prepare and analyze sales reports and business performance metrics

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 3–6 years of experience in apparel retail (mandatory)**
* Prior experience in a Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager role
* Strong knowledge of fabrics (cotton, silk, blends, synthetics, etc.) and garment types
* Understanding of styling, fits, and customer preferences
Qualification:
* Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory)

* Fabric knowledge and garment handling expertise
* Visual merchandising skills
* Sales planning and target achievement
* Inventory and stock management
* POS and basic computer knowledge
