Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations & Material Handling
· Manage end-to-end store activities including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
· Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
· Ensure proper stacking, labelling, and segregation of materials for easy traceability. 2. Manual Inventory & Documentation Management
· Maintain complete and accurate stock records through inventory notes, registers, and manual logbooks.
· Manage documentation such as GRNs, issue slips, return slips, damage reports, and dispatch notes.
· Conduct regular stock checks and monthly physical inventory reconciliation.
· Ensure systematic filing of all store-related records for audit readiness.
Supervising Store Personnel
· Lead, guide, and monitor the performance of two Store Supervisors.
· Assign daily tasks and ensure adherence to established store SOPs.
· Train staff on correct handling, documentation, and safety processes.
· Foster teamwork, discipline, and a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Coordination & Communication
· Coordinate closely with Purchase, Production, QA, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely material availability.
· Share daily stock updates, shortages, and critical material alerts with the concerned departments.
· Ensure transparent communication on material delays or discrepancies.
· All vehicles reporting for loading and unloading operations shall be processed within the agreed schedule. No vehicle shall be detained or left stranded on account of improper planning, coordination gaps, or operational inefficiencies.
5. Compliance, Safety & Process Improvement
· Maintain a safe and organized store environment by implementing material-handling safety norms.
· Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to streamline manual processes.
· Support internal/external audits by ensuring complete documentation and accuracy of physical stock.
6. Handling and Assigning Labourers / Loaders
· Assign labourers for loading and unloading tasks based on daily workload and priority.
· Ensure proper distribution of work when multiple labourers are available to avoid idle time.
· Brief labourers on the specific materials to be loaded/unloaded, handling method, and safety precautions.
· Monitor their work continuously to ensure materials are handled correctly and efficiently.
· Maintain a record of labourers’ tasks, time spent, and any additional support required.
· Ensure labourers follow safety guidelines, proper lifting techniques, and PPE requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
· Graduate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
· 8–10 years of proven experience in store or warehouse management within a manufacturing/electrical/engineering environment.
· Strong understanding of manual inventory systems, documentation, and stock control.
· Experience in supervising small teams and ensuring process compliance. Skills & Competencies

· Excellent knowledge of manual inventory management.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
· Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and strong follow-up ability.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
